Our local chapters are micro communities within TMC - led independently by passionate community leaders with support from the TMC Global Team and our community sponsor IriusRisk. Each chapter shares our mission of securing modern systems and software through threat modeling. They bring this security superpower to life by organzing regular events and creating open source projects for pracitioenrs in their cities or regions.
We’re proud to be a global community, and we believe connecting locally makes us unstoppable. There’s something uniquely powerful about connecting with like-minded threat modeling practitoners who speak your language, understand your regional and cultural context, and share your challenge.
Our chapter leaders aren’t just experts in threat modeling (some may even call themevles obsessed!). They’re passionate community builders – bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and creating events that go beyond learning to foster real connections and lasting memories.
We recommend at least 5 years of experience in threat modeling and some community-building experience (such as involvement in other communities).
You’ll lead regular events that bring your local community together to learn, share, and level up their threat modeling skills—while having a great time! Event frequency depends on your community’s needs: monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or even twice a year—whatever works best.
You can also launch regional initiatives like language-specific resources or open-source projects.

Most chapter events are in-person. TMC DACH, our German-speaking chapter, currently meets online.
